Tuesday, July 7, 2009A Senate amendment based on Congressman Ron Paul’s successful House bill to audit the Federal Reserve was blocked by the Senate yesterday evening on procedural grounds, as Jim DeMint slammed the Fed for refusing to disclose where trillions in bailout funds had gone, while a top Obama administration advisor called for a second “stimulus” package to be prepared.

Judging from the Ron Paul website, linked in my article, it seems if enough people voice support for the audit, it still has a possibility of going through. Banking Ballyhoo - Time to Audit the Fed?
@templestream - I hope that's the case... since we are the reason the people in congress are in office in the first place. There's some big agendas this bill is bucking though, and it's bound to meet resistance, as we've already seen. Thanks for the comment. I'll look at that link.
